two weddings, one weekend

The shop was a whirlwind of creative chaos this week as we prepared for two big, beautiful weddings. We had a blast working with such different styles at the same time, and we think they both turned out beautifully!

For the first wedding, a summery garden theme with caramel antique garden roses, cool water roses and amaranthus. These little posies in silver julep cups are so cute!

monster truck

Filed under: Flowers This Week — celsia @ 3:47 pm

one of the perks of being a florist near 4th avenue is all the trucks heading down to kits beach to give out samples. they drive through our alley all the time. this time we stopped a truck in its tracks (with our stunning good looks) and got energy drinks for our staff!

We love the chance to meet our neighbors in the Kitsilano area. Here is an arrangement done for an anniversary (inspired by the happy couple’s wildflower wedding). The photo is taken just next door in front of acorn apartments  in our “secret” pro-photography spot.
